| I’d like to do cultural studies or Roma studies, that would great. I reckon it’s important to know why certain things are done or why they’re not done. Why, for instance here in Europe, on such a small area of land, everyone speaks so many different languages and everyone is so different. I also love music festivals, and I reckon it would be quite interesting to organise something along those lines and meet with the bands and groups involved. I would definitely like to learn more about the history of the Roma, about our original traditions and customs. I’d like to do something to improve the opinion that Czechs have of Roma people and to help Roma to enjoy a better life here. We have had to surrender large parts of our culture and our lifestyle, and I believe that many Roma have still not find a way of adapting to this other world. |
