| In my case things are a bit complicated. Mum and Dad are Catholics, but very much the way they want to be. I was baptised, but we don’t go to church that often. Only on religious festivals, when we go to meet Mum’s relatives. Then we go home with them and chat and celebrate. But Mum often prays, she thanks God that we’re healthy and happy. She says it’s the only thing she wants for us. At home I’ve got loads of pictures of the Virgin Mary and the Baby Jesus.
I’ve got one hanging in my bedroom, and when we have to write an essay, I always quickly ask her if she could just help out a bit … 
I think that if people behave well to each other and aren’t nasty, then everyone comes out on top. |
