I’m an atheist - I’m not Christian, I’m not Muslim, I’m not anything. Mum was baptised, but she doesn’t go to church. Well, only at Christmas. She says she likes it because of the atmosphere. Dad was brought up in a Christian family, but in Africa Christianity’s a different ballgame than in Europe, it’s more mixed up with the idea that gods and spirits are all around us in animals and trees and stuff.
