See who else is hereJožo has sometimes troubles

Everyone is either sitting on the park bench or standing around.

Jožo: Oh s***, my parents’ll kill me, I’ve got another fail in dictation.

Daniel: That’s normal, isn’t it? In our house that happens every day..

Jožo: Fair enough, but the teacher doesn’t seem to understand that at home I speak Slovak, and Czech is my second language.

Olga: It’s like that with us too …

Daniel: We speak a different language at home too, and nobody appreciates it.

Olga: It’s a shame that they don’t teach Russian here any more.

Pavla: I don’t know what you’re whining about. We live in the Czech Republic and Czech is the language. Just be grateful that you can learn here for free.

Olga: I’m happy to speak Czech. You can still hear I’ve got an accent, like.

Pavla: Your accent’s not that bad, although my brother would kill you because of it …

Suong: I don’t have much of an accent, although that’s mainly down to my foster grandmother.

Jožo: You what?? What’s a foster grandmother when she’s at home?

Suong: She’s someone my parents paid to be my grandmother.
