Olga: And what did you do during the day?

Pavla: Lazed around sunning themselves, didn’t they?

Jami: You’re horrible, you are. You try being locked up and not being able to do anything. You’d soon get bored. My situation wasn’t too bad, because I had a course in Czech and I went to school. But after two years of that my parents were totally losing it – they kept on calling each other “headcases”.

Olga: “Headcases”? – What’s that?

Jami: It means they couldn’t take any more.
