Situation: Classmates talk about the homework

Ali: Hey people! What about your folks, did they do their homework?

Pavla: Yeah! It made me laugh when I saw what my mum did. She wasn't very keen on doing it, she told me that it's only people who have nothing better to do that can be interested in such crap - so she wrote that in her response!

Olga: Well, my mum thought really hard about it. Actually, it was the first time we’d ever talked about how she feels. I was pretty surprised at what she had to go through.

Magda: What do you mean? What did she go through?

Olga: Like strange looks on the street, a DVD rental shop refusing to lend her DVDs 'cos she's a foreigner, and so on. Before this I didn't think about it at all.

Dan: And I was surprised that my father doesn't really feel like a Czech citizen, even though he has Czech citizenship. It's so weird. On one hand it's just a piece of paper, on the other hand it makes you wonder where you belong to and where you don't...
