Olga: I went to the cinema last night, it was seriously good. What did you lot do?

Magda: I was round at Suong’s. It was alright in the end, although at the beginning I was sweating. I made a right balls-up yet again, didn’t I Suong?

Suong: That’s not true, everything was explained in the end.

Andrea: Hang on, I’m not following. What happened?

Olga: You making a balls-up, Magda? That sounds interesting…

Magda: I got there on time and took Suong’s mum some cake and buns, and suddenly she stopped smiling, which is saying something, and disappeared into the kitchen. She didn’t want to take the buns. I felt like a right idiot. Suong explained everything, but it was still a shock.

Andrea: I still don’t understand! Was her mum ill or what?
